All Hands Go – Commitments, Priorities, Life, etc.
March 22nd, 2010 Posted in Uncategorized | 5 Comments »This is kind of a sad blog for me to write and I’m not entirely sure how to start it off, but here goes. This last Thursday I had to inform the guys in my band All Hands Go that I was leaving and that they would need to start looking for my replacement. I wasn’t planning to quit right away but suggested that they have our bass player Gabe Paulson take over for me and keep Mike Irish as the bass player which I believe is what they have decided to do. If this is the a permanent line-up, I am unaware, only time will tell.
Anyway, I’m sure you’re wondering why I left such a kick ass band. First off, I haven’t left. I’m simply no longer the rhythm guitar player. The guys in All Hands Go are fantastic musicians who are like brothers to me and I will continue to support them however I can. However, because of other priorities such as my family and work, I have come to the decision that I can’t currently give All Hands Go the commitment that they need to succeed. I have too many things at this point in my life that won’t allow for me to go on tour or make time for even the busy local concert schedule that has been the result of a whirlwind of growing popularity for All Hands Go and it would be unfair for me to hold back the other members of the band from accomplishing their dreams.
To the remaining active members of All Hands Go, I love you and will continue to stay positive and give you whatever support that I can. I truly hope you gain all the success your hard work has proved you deserve.
To the fans, I hope you will all continue to stay positive and see this not as a set back for All Hands Go but rather another fantastic chapter that awaits and please keep up all the love and support you have shown thus far.
Until next time, STAY POSI! – ALL HANDS GO!

Fifteen Thousand Tweets Later
February 3rd, 2010 Posted in Uncategorized | 2 Comments »So as I was recently nearing my 15,000th tweet with no real plan for anything cooler than a “WooHoo!” my fellow tweeps were thinking that I was going to do something cool like post a video of me dancing like a monkey or something (which I might have actually done had there been someone around who could hold the camera). However, I really hadn’t given it much though, in fact the only thought I really did give it was a few minutes while feeding our adorable little daughter Rose some lunch. Now of course I didn’t want to let you all down, but I wasn’t sure what to tweet. No one was around to video Dave the Dancing Monkey. How about a RickRoll? Boy, that would piss some people off.
So what it basically boiled down to was that there really isn’t anything super cool enough to put in a 140 character tweet in celebration of 15,000 tweets in the past 1 year, 11 months, 5 days, 22 hours, 21 minutes, and 15 seconds. So I thought I’d write I quick blog post. While this blog post really isn’t all that exciting either, at least I can take my time to tell you all that I think you’re completely awesome in all of your own little ways and that I appreciate the conversations and relationships that twitter has built between all of us.
If you haven’t actually ever been to my blog before, I hope you will subscribe to the RSS feed and come back soon! For the few of you who have been loyal readers, thank you. Of course, I would probably blab on here to nobody and it wouldn’t make much difference, but I’m glad that there are a few people out there who actually read the mostly useless crap I blog about.
Anyway, Cheers! And I’ll see you on Twitter!

Nice way to get away from mundane task and be able to focus strictly on design. This logo for Jtree is my most recent. New Logo Designs – All About The Rock And Roll
December 4th, 2009 Posted in Uncategorized | 1 Comment »A few months back I got together with some old friends, met a few new ones, and started a kick ass new band. After the painstakingly dreadful task of coming up with a band name we all like and agreed on, I was finally able to go to work on a logo and some brand design. Without going into too much repetition, I will post the tee shirt and button design on the Graphic Design page. Here is the logo for the band:

So last week some friends of ours in another band decided they liked our logo so much that they hired me to design a logo for them as well. They had some cool ideas already, making this a quick and simple design to execute. Here is their logo:
